Do you think time travel is posible?

Maybe traveling into the future will be possible but I don't think going into the past will ever be done.

How would you balance energy if the past was being kept for you to travel to it?...Likewise the future..

I can't remember the originator of the quote, but it basically said that if time travel was possible to the past we would have met some time traveling tourists by now.

I think that it is possible to "travel" to the future via near speed-of-light travel. This would allow you to speed up time around yourself to a point that it would appear to yourself that you are traveling forward in time

Good point about the time tourists.

This is of course all in theory. There must be more to it than that, or would have probably be done by now... Or at least attempted right?

look at all the dissapeared ppl never been found and such....maby this "tourists" removed them to prevent others from being even born like 400 years from now.

Good point. But there are a few things that could explain not meeting the tourists:

1. If they have the technology to time travel they may also have the technology to be invisible.

2. When they travel into the past, they are unable or not permitted to carry technology from the future, which means they cannot prove to anyone they are from the future so they are considered crazy. I mean, would you believe someone that told you he's from the future if he has no hard evidence? In that case, the only way they could prove to you that they are from the future is by telling you about the things to happen in the future, but if we take the parallel universes theory into the account (which means that if you travel in time, you are probably in another parallel universe, and that means different history) it means it probably won't happen

3. They are not physically present in the past. They may have a technology like time periscope.

Maybe in the future we do go to the past,and the evidence is here already,easter island,pyramids,burning bush?

Ummmm...I don't think traveling to the past is possible and hope it isn't for many reasons...1 being that if you went to the past and stepped on a bug or actually just appeared there and left a tiny trace the future would become non existent to you....or in theory if you change the past you are only able to return to one branch of billions of possible branches of the future. But the future thing is something I kinda wonder about. And if you could accelerate your molecules how would you keep stability? Wouldn't they just become excited atoms and burn out fast?
and on the invisibility part...wouldn't you freeze if you stopped your body from reflecting light?
