Now that I think about it, I may have been enjoying the "higher social value," as mondobobo put it, of being with a tall and beautiful woman. I imagine girls who were looking on were thinking, "what's so special about that short guy?" haha

Well, think about it like this, how many short guys have you seen dating a taller woman? And when you see a couple like that you probably notice them beside a "usual" couple.

Taller usually means stronger, faster, healthier which woman subconsciously translate as a better protector, which in the past, our cave days meant a lot. I've heard girls say they like when their boyfriend holds them with his big hands, it makes them feel more secure.

Good question! I must say I'm little more attracted to shorter girls. I don't know why. Maybe because we subconsciously know we have lesser chance with taller woman. Or maybe because men are naturally protective, and if you date a taller (bigger) girl she will probably protect you . (or if you date a mexican girl )

Someone mentioned playing with your hair having a certain meaning. I don't think playing with your hair, necessarily means anything at all. I have a habit of messing with my hair and many times people will ask if I'm nervous. I'm not and will do it when I'm home alone relaxing and watching a good show, in fact I do it often... it's a habit.

I am interested in the subject of body language. I was very shy when I first graduated high school and this made me feel very disconnected from people, so I made it a point to read books on the subject and figure out what I was doing wrong. I couldn't seem to talk to or meet people. I learned how to change my body language and make eye contact and other things. It was hard, but I worked my way through it and have found it easier to connect with people.
