Half the times, when someone rehauls their site, I tend to not be crazy about it or prefer it over the old way. This site's recent makeover, however, is really really good! I really like it. Good job! I realize you are not finished but still, the general feel is more modern, yet inviting. Bravo!
It almost feels as if the entire site has upgraded. I mean that with complete respect to the old look because I liked that look also, but this is really sleek and modern as Wolverine mentioned. I just love it when I visit!
It's true, it feels like more than just the skin was changed ... as if the software got upgrade or the site rehauled with areas and features. I think part of is this current design helping my eye comfortably go to the other area buttons.
I do like the look of this site a lot, the only thing I would do would be to change that top menu a bit because it is kinda hard to read.
I also might suggest putting the New Posts Button along the top. That is where I always look for it, lol. Just me being picky. I still love the new look of the site overall.
