Default What formulas should I use for..

I am trying too conduct an experiment regarding evaporation from soil-to-air in various size containers and conditions; thickness of soil vs. head room of enviroment.

-humidity
-moisture content
-ampient conditions
and a few other things need too be taken into account im sure.

Can someone advise me on how and what I would need too experiment with this?

I am trying too come up with a complete controll, this way I will have measuerments and such too work with. Its trying too determine air flow and a few other tricky things that i still need too know.

If any one can point out some tips/advice, I would appreciate it.
